The show kicks off with their thoughts on the revamped Mixed Doubles event and closes with a lively fan Q&A.
If you want to be ready for the US Open, this is your must-listen preview. A big thanks to everyone who came out to the show!
Served Bracket Challenge Is Live!
Alright Chuckers, time to go head-to-head with Andy Roddick, Jon Wertheim and tennis fans from around the world.
Make your picks before play begins on Sunday, August 24.
Then, enjoy the tennis.
We’ll share leaderboard updates in our daily Quick Served Newsletter drops.
Women’s Draw
Aryna Sabalenka enters New York as the defending champ and looks to rebound after losing two Grand Slam finals in 2025. Can she win a major for the third straight year? Or does another Slam Champion steal the spotlight in NYC?
Andy and JW learn the hard way that bold predictions in front of a live audience can earn a few boos. Still, they break down the “sneaky fun” first round, spotlight players primed for an upset, and pick their champion.
If you disagree with any of their picks, guess what? You can prove them wrong.
Men’s Draw
Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz have combined to win the last seven majors, and if they meet in the final in New York, the winner takes over the World No. 1 ranking. Andy kicks off the men’s draw breakdown by putting their dominance into perspective.
JW follows with his trademark off-court nuggets, including insider details to keep in mind before play begins and why he feels “duty-bound” to call a certain first-round upset.
Plus: hear which matchup had Andy shouting “I love tennis!” and find out how far they have a certain 24-time Grand Slam Champion going in the draw.
Must-Watch First Round Matches:
Women’s Draw
Seven-time major winner, and two-time US Open Champion, Venus Williams will face No. 11 seed Karolina Muchova who reached the semifinals in New York the past two years.
An intriguing ‘rising star’ matchup: No. 14 seed Clara Tauson (age 22) vs. Alexandra Eala (age 20).
Canadian Open Champion and No. 22 seed Victoria Mboko will have a tough test in her US Open debut, facing 2024 Wimbledon Champ Barbora Krejčíková.
Men’s Draw
Looking for his second US Open title, and sixth major, Carlos Alcaraz draws hard-serving American Reilly Opelka. It’ll be their first meeting.
No. 10 seed Lorenzo Musetti will also face a big server in Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard in Round 1.
No. 23 seed Alexander Bublik hasn’t played since winning back-to-back clay court titles in July. He’ll take on 2014 US Open Champion Marin Cilic.
