Teenagers Jovic and Rakotomanga Rajaonah Win First Titles
Shining in the post-US Open stretch: 17-year-old American Iva Jovic and French 19-year-old Tiantsoa Rakotomanga Rajaonah, who each won their first WTA title over the weekend.
Jovic won the WTA 500 Guadalajara Open to become the youngest singles champion on tour this season and the youngest American to win a tour-level title since Coco Gauff in 2021. The California native jumps to a career-high ranking of World No. 36.
Rakotomanga Rajaonah claimed her first WTA title at the SP Open (WTA 250) by defeating Janice Tjen in Sunday’s final. She reached a new career high ranking of World No. 131 and became the first French woman to win a hard-court title since Caroline Garcia in 2022.

Following dramatic comebacks and surprising upsets, the Davis Cup Final 8 is locked in.
Argentina, Austria, Belgium, Czechia, France, Germany, and Spain all advanced over the weekend to join 2024 champions Italy in the finals, which will be from November 18-23 in Bologna, Italy.

BJK Cup Finals Preview
The team events keep rolling as the Billie Jean King Cup Finals begin Tuesday in Shenzhen, China as eight nations compete for the title.
China, Italy, Great Britain, Kazakhstan, Japan, Spain, Ukraine, and the U.S. make up the Final 8.
The quarterfinal round will be played until the 18th, semifinal matches take place on the 19th and 20th, and the final is set for the 21st.
